Glass is a magical medium that both reflects and draws in the light.
The forms and structures in the natural world are where I draw my inspiration to create unique and original glass garden sculptures and installations.
I am fascinated by the pattern that is held deep within natural forms often at a microscopic level. This combines with my deep rooted love of ancient symbols found in the oldest of our worlds cultures.
By playing with experimental techniques to combine the beautiful colours of glass and forms that I am drawn to, I work to explore both 2 and 3 dimensions in my work.
Often now, I like to add another dimension to my outdoor pieces by designing them to hang, sitting alongside natures wonders and allowing them to move in the breeze.
I also love to work both collaboratively and collectively to create community art works of shared ownership.
